To celebrate the exquisite traditional culture of China and in honor of Cultural and Natural Heritage Day on June 14, the POLY MGM MUSEUM is proud to present a series of events entitled "Intangible Cultural Heritage Conversation Series." From June to August 2025, three sharing sessions will be conducted, featuring esteemed national-level inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, distinguished scholars, and celebrated artists. These sharing sessions will offer an in-depth exploration of the historical significance and contemporary innovations inherent in traditional crafts, including Cloisonné, Guangcai porcelain, and Pith Painting. This series aspires to provide participants with a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the captivating world of intangible cultural heritage through thematic presentations and engaging discussions.

Sharing Session“Cloisonné: The Inheritance and Innovation of the Palace Art”

Cloisonné (Filigree Enamel) Craftsmanship, one of China's first nationally recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts, embodies the essence of ancient Chinese imperial artistry. The POLY MGM MUSEUM has adopted the distinctive Cloisonné Dougong Brackets as its emblem, pioneering contemporary applications for this exceptional intangible heritage craft. Mr. Li Li will highlight the achievements of the Palace Art Specialized Committee of China Arts and Crafts Society in preserving intangible cultural heritage and fostering innovative adaptations. Meanwhile, Mr. Zhong Liansheng, the designer of the Cloisonné Dougong Brackets, will provide an in-depth exploration of the craft's historical evolution and its modern creative applications.
